Welcome to our website.  Here you can find info on our new album "Ecstasy", as well as scheduling, and info on booking us for live performances.  Please look around and have fun.

    Firstly, the name.  R²Project (pronounced "R squared Project), comes from a nickname given to Robert Reddrick in fun by good friend Gary Harvey, while touring with "The Platters". 

     Formerly known as "Spectrum featuring Bonnie Phillips", we have performed extensively throughout the Chicago area and abroad.  We performed for 1 year with the "Yvette's" restaurant chain, including Yvette's North in Wheeling IL, and Yvette's On State, on Chicago's gold coast.  Within two months Spectrum helped  Yvette's become "the number one place in the Chicago area for dancing" according to Northshore Magazine. 

   Our repertoire includes many genres of music, including soul, r&b, pop, disco, reggae, and rock.  As Spectrum we were also the featured band 4 nights weekly at "Mia Cucina" in Palatine, as well as performing at various other venues around the Chicago area.  Because of Spectrum's well-enjoyed performances they were chosen to open a concert for the legendary Roy Ayers, as well as performing for many private functions and Chicago venues. 

     Spectrum also performed for 3 months in Japan delivering a high energy show 7 nights a week,  once again bringing the night club one of it's best turnouts to date. 

      Currently back with a new name, the R²Project has been performing nationally as well as locally, and completing the newly released CD of original music entitled "Ecstasy".
